The Commons Martin Place

A hybrid hospitality and shared work space, designed to support the evolving patterns of modern professionals.

More Information Less Information

Located within the landmark 39 Martin Place development and directly linked to Sydney Metro, the project creates a fluid environment across a purposefully layered interior. Drawing inspiration from premium hospitality settings, the space combines high-performance workplace infrastructure with the emotional resonance of a hotel lobby or evening bar.

A café and bar offering weaves into the broader hospitality experience, encouraging moments of pause, social connection and informal meeting throughout the day and into the evening.

A sequence of zones, ranging from casual seating and shared tables to semi-private nooks and bar stools, offers flexibility, comfort and operational clarity. Spatial transitions are handled through moving walls, joinery and calibrated lighting shifts, allowing the space to shift in use and atmosphere across the day. Infused with The Commons’ brand ethos of generosity and welcome, the venue balances public accessibility with a refined members-first mindset, delivering an experience that is intentional and enduring.
