Studio Round

After many years in Melbourne CBD, Studio Round approached DesignOffice to create a new studio for them as they relocated to a light-filled first floor tenancy in Carlton.

The brief called for a flexible environment which could support the team of 20 with a range of work settings, including concurrent meetings and all-day workshops. A permeable storage and library spine of tan-coloured pinboard provides spatial definition, acoustic attenuation, material warmth and an extensive working surface.

Core to the new studio environment is a bespoke open kitchen, adjacent to a custom-designed 5m long table able to seat the entire Studio Round team.
