Crosby Street is the third Mud Australia store completed by the DesignOffice team. The store takes over the base of the classic pre-war loft building to showcase the entire range of their hand-made porcelain; once again using the iconic Vitsoe shelving system.

The store is situated off a typical cobblestone street in SoHo. The space is filled with natural light and the interior walls are set with soft warm grey hues and subtle pastels. This is complimented with a new herringbone oak flooring which allows the colour spectrum of the Mud porcelain to ignite the room with it’s unique palette. The Vitra ‘Slow Chair’ completes the space amongst a curated collection of vintage and contemporary classic furniture. A dusky pink curtain divides the space in two creating a second area within the store for client product consultations.

This concept was developed in response to the client’s brief for a space that provided a warm and welcoming environment for customers and staff. The new store continues the design language originally developed for the Australian showrooms in Melbourne and Sydney.
