Mud / Creation of a global retail language for the Australian porcelain manufacturer

DesignOffice have worked with Shelley Simpson and James Kirton for over 5 years to create a suite of individual retail environments for Mud Australia in Sydney, Melbourne, New York and London. Each of the stores utilises the iconic Vitsoe Shelving System and BarberOsgerby Home Tables to create an environment conducive to displaying and encouraging customer engagement with the range of handmade porcelain. Considered use of colour and texture is at the heart of all of the stores responding to the chromatic range of the Mud palette and specific site characteristics.
